3 Short Haircuts That Would Look Better than the Wig Mindy Kaling Wears on Her Show

Mindy Kaling told Jimmy Fallon this week that she was the only one who loved her short haircut (which came via a wig) on her show*, The Mindy Project* (which came back last night—did you watch?). She said, “I would do selfies and be, like, ‘This is hot,’ and I was, like, ‘Guys, am I one of those girls who can pull of pixie cuts?’ and immediately—no. My dad, my brother, they were, like, ‘Absolutely not.'”

Well, I think the reason her haircut wasn’t getting a lot of love isn’t that she doesn’t have potential to rock the heck out of short hair; it’s that particular cut—it’s too harsh for her round face. But I think she would easily pull off one of these short haircuts.

This style is soft and lovely and would go with Mindy’s sunny vibe.

Now, none of these are technically a pixie cut a la Rosemary’s Baby, but they’re short and would look super cute on her.
