Alert! Even More Magical Harry Potter Makeup Palette Colors Are Coming

When two fandoms unite, it can be a magical thing—especially when we’re talking about Harry Potter makeup. That’s why the internet went crazy over the announcement of four Harry Potter eye palettes back in October. The inspired eyeshadows comes from Storybook Cosmetics, a cruelty-free brand produced by three sisters, Erin, Missy, and Mandy Maynard. (They’re the same trio that brought us the genius idea of wizard wands as makeup brushes, BTW)

Now, the latest update from the company involves new colors and names for the Witchcraft and Wizardry Palette—and it appears that there will just be one instead of four. Although a lot of the colors look similar to the original shades, some of the new names are much more reminiscent of the Harry Potter universe: a bright, on-trend burgundy called “Sorcerer,” a deep green called “Potion,” and a gray-blue called “Cloak.”

It’s unclear why the brand decided to shift from four palettes to one and why some of the shades have changed—but we’ve reached out to Storybook Cosmetics for more details and will update the story when we know more.
