Anne Hathaway Tried a Sexy Smoky Eye Last Night. Here’s How it Turned Out

When getting glam for the red carpet, Anne Hathaway tends to go for dramatic eyeliner and/or a statement lip, but only rarely do we see her try a shadow-heavy smoky eye. Which is what makes this so exciting. Look!

For last night’s New York City premiere of Interstellar, the smoky eye was ON, thanks to celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee, who helped prep Anne for the event. Look at that brown haze extending all the way up to the crease—major smoked-out drama happening here, and I love it.

Note: In the event photos, Anne’s lipstick showed up a more muted dark rose, not hot pink—although I love it in the Instagram shot above too!

Either way, super pretty.
