April Ludgate Would Not Approve of Aubrey Plaza’s New Red Hair
We’ve pretty much always associated Aubrey Plaza with the black hair that matched the black, deadpan humor of her Parks and Recreation character, April Ludgate—it was a signature part of her look, after all. But over the winter, she’s been subtly updating her look, going from a glossy tortoiseshell in December to a full-on redhead look at Sundance Film Festival this past week.
She left her jet-black hair behind sometime between the beginning of December and January, when she switched out raven for a short-haired take on the tortoiseshell trend, with a rich brown base and warm red undertones that shone through. Then Aubrey stepped out at Sundance in Park City this week as a full-on redhead. It’s a total 180 from her cool dark tones, and it looks amazing.
Check it out—here’s Aubrey as we’ve all known and loved her for years…
