Bella Thorne Is Back to Bright Red-Orange Hair Again—But With a Twist

From mermaid blue to platinum blond and literally every shade in between (shout out to Poison Ivy hair), Bella Thorne has proven she can pretty much pull off any hair color she wants. In fact, she dyes her hair so often that you might have forgotten she’s actually a natural blond. But, it seems the look she’s most famous for—a vibrant cinnamon-y shade of red—is back, with a bit of a twist.

Thorne first alluded she might be changing up her look again earlier this week on August 23. She tweeted—and then Instagrammed a shot of said tweet—that she was going to be dying her hair again, and that the process was going to take three—3!—days to complete. At the time she was rocking the bright pink color she’s had for most of the summer, and she asked her followers to predict what hue they thought she would try out next. A couple people guessed rainbow which, given her history, was actually not a bad guess. But even more people wagered that she’d go back to something closer to her signature.

And it turns out, her fans know her well. Like really well! Because on Saturday, after teasing her followers with a tweet about how she feels “so new and shiny with this hair,” Thorne finally debuted her new ‘do. In pictures posted on Twitter and Instagram, the 19-year-old proudly showed off her fiery red-orange hair, writing “back to the old me” under one of the shots.

We’ve got to admit, we do love her with red hair—and the pink streaks make it even more fun. But we love how happy and confident she looks with her new (old) color even more.
