Do You Do That Slightly Pursed-Lips Smile Thing? (Reese Witherspoon Is Doing It In This Shot)
Not to be confused with the tragic and persistent “duckface,” the purse-lipped smile happens in red-carpet pictures a lot. Even to Reese Witherspoon. Do you know what I’m talking about?
This is a facial expression that occurs when you’ve been smiling a lot and need a break in between big grins or when you’re almost laughing but it just doesn’t quite make it past your lips. Do you tend to do this in pictures?
I try not to. Not because I think there’s anything wrong with it, but it makes my already small lips look non-existent, much like those mouthless nightmare models we saw last week. Unattractive.
Do you have a whole bunch of pictures like this? Or are you just not a slightly pursed-lipped smiler? Do you notice this on other people a lot? Discuss.
