Emma Watson’s Beauty Guru Swears By This Boob Oil
Say “Emma Watson,” and our thought process goes champion for women, Harry Potter, and pube oil. The first two are pretty self-explanatory, what with Watson’s decades-long stint in the public eye and her highly publicized statements on feminism and gender equality. The third is just slightly more inside baseball, but Watson’s spoken at length about her love for natural beauty in interviews. All-natural pubic hair care Fur Oil is a favorite of hers, and now Racked has gone straight to Watson’s beauty source, the English organic beauty guru Imelda Burke—and come up with boob oil.
According to the interview, Burke founded the London clean beauty boutique Content Beauty & Wellbeing with an emphasis on organic and synthetic-chemical-free skin care (worth noting: there’s no official definition for “organic” in the beauty space, but Burke did write a book on going all-natural). Watson came by the store so frequently that the two eventually met and shared notes. Voila, beauty BFFs—Burke is basically Watson’s natural beauty Merlin.
So when asked about her favorite natural brands, Burke’s go-to’s are predictably covetable: Chic, sustainable, and largely organic brands like curl line Bouclème and the gorgeously packaged Nuori. All are intriguing, but none more so than the list’s kicker: Boobs’ Essential Oil.
Full disclosure, we don’t know if Watson herself uses the oil. But color us deeply, deeply intrigued: via Racked, Burke describes the Boobs line as “a cross between body oil and a health tracker.” We side-eyed, as we initially side-eyed pubic hair oil, but it’s hard to fault their logic. The brand suggests “massaging your breasts daily, which makes you familiar with them so that you can mentally track any changes,” Burke says.
Fair enough. It’s the same with pube oil—to each their own. And while you definitely don’t need an oil to feel yourself up early and often, the Boobs blend incorporates sweet almond oil, sandalwood, myrrh, and frankincense to make the experience as enjoyable as possible (rarely a bad thing, especially for medical chores). The good news? Content offers free shipping around the globe. The bad? If you’re interested, probably wait to Google “Boobs essential oil reviews” until you’re home.
