Holy Smokes, This Is The Ugliest Lipstick In The History Of The Universe! (This Poor Model)

Apologies in advance for the nightmares you’re going to have tonight, but I couldn’t not post a photo of the extremely unsettling makeup scheme that one designer sent down the runway during Madrid Fashion Week. Dare I say this is the ugliest lipstick idea we’ve ever come across?

At yesterday’s Lemoniez show, the runway models appeared to have just eaten radioactive blue popsicles and then died as a result. Seriously–something about this particular shade of chalky neon blue lipstick manages to cast a zombie-like pallor over the complexion. I dare say even Lady Gaga wouldn’t attempt to pull off this eerily unflattering color.

Lest you say I’m just biased against bold blue, I love Katy Perry’s new electric-blue hair as much as the rest of you do.

So how is it that Katy’s blue hair is so flattering and this blue lipstick is so the complete opposite? I suppose this is just another mystery of the beauty universe.

What’s your reaction to these radioactive-blue runway lips? What the heck do you think this designer was thinking? Anybody find this look awesome and artistic and think I’m just not getting it?
