How to Make Brown Eyeshadow Sexy, Like Emmy Rossum

Finally, it looks like my favorite eye makeup look of the week has arrived (it’s Thursday, I was getting a little worried!). Behold, Emmy Rossum at a pre-Oscars party last night

It’s like a glammed-up version of everyday neutral eyeshadow, applied more generously and with more shimmer. I love how the bronzy brown is concentrated toward her lash line and then fades gently into her crease, for a subtle and pretty haze. Brown eyeliner on her lower inner rims keeps her eyes defined, and that bit of twinkle beneath her lower lashes completes the whole pretty look for evening.
