It’s OK If Your Braids Come Out Skinny and Twerpy–Look At Taylor Swift’s!

Some of us have hair that’s full and thick-looking when left loose, but when put in a braid, suddenly looks super-thin. But Taylor Swift stepped out in London yesterday to prove that even a thin lil’ braid can be big on cuteness.

Nobody would accuse Taylor Swift of having thin, limp hair, but look how teensy her side braid turned out. This probably means that her famous curly hair is on the fine side, so that when it’s bundled up into a braid, it easily gets compressed to a wee size. Mine is the same way–I have a lot of hair, but the individual hairs are fine, so my ponytails are slim and my braids wimpy.

How many of you suffer from wimpy-braid syndrome? Does this prevent you from wearing them, or do you think your skinny braid looks just as cute as a more substantial one?
