Jaclyn Hill Just Shared 7 Gorgeous Shades From Her New Palette Collab With Morphe
If you’ve ever fallen down the rabbit hole that is the world of viral beauty videos, you’ve probably heard of Jaclyn Hill. She’s a beauty blogger with almost 4 million YouTube subscribers—and she’s worked on awesome product collabs that seem to sell out in seconds.
One of her most successful projects was a collaboration with Becca Cosmetics called Champagne Pop. It started out as a single peachy gold highlighter that sold out so quickly the brand decided to make it into an entire collection. Since then she’s gone on to create her own cosmetics line that, if all goes to plan, should be out this year (fingers crossed!).
While we’re waiting for that to drop though, the YouTube beauty queen decided to partner up with Morphe, a beauty brand known for its affordable and high quality makeup brushes, to give us her dream eyeshadow palette. It’s not the first time she’s worked with the brand, either: Back in 2014 she released the Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette with Morphe.
Yesterday she announced on Instagram that she’s been working with Morphe Creative Director Linda Tawil to give us the new palette—and it seems like Jaclyn had a ton of creative control over it. As she said in her post: “I was SO picky with the pigmentation, application & blend-ability. Our goal was to create something high quality with an affordable price.”

Linda posted on her own Instagram about the palette—and the process of creating it. “She has put soooo much heart and soul into this palette. She has definitely pushed me to my limits, drove me insane at times and taught me SO much in this process. I know each and every one of you will love it!”
Jaclyn went into further detail on her Snapchat about the palette’s creation, which began in February 2015. She said the goal was to create a palette that would look good on all skin types with “everything you need in one palette”—and she even resubmitted some of the colors to the formulator over 30 times to get them just right. The final product is a palette of 35 shades that Jaclyn touts as the most blendable, smooth, and creamy eyeshadows she’s ever seen—at that affordable price point Morphe is known for. (Morphe palettes usually cost $23-40 for 35 shadows.)
Luckily for us, she shared a few sneak peeks with us of the palette on her Snapchat.
Here it is on:
And here are seven swatches of the shades we can expect: a chocolatey matte brown, a matte tan, a shimmery cranberry, a copper shimmer, a metallic champagne, a muted gold, and a vibrant turquoise shade.
Gorgeous, no? The palette will launch in March, so until then, we’ll just be lusting over the swatches she shared and brainstorming ways to add that gorgeous turquoise shade to our look.
