Jeffree Star and Manny Gutierrez Just Revealed Their Entire Makeup Collaboration

UPDATE: The wait is over—YouTube makeup gurus Jeffree Star and Manny Gutierrez finally unveiled a full look at their Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Manny MUA collaboration, which features a new Skin Frost highlighter and two Velour Liquid Lipsticks. And if you’re a fan of one or both of these beauty boys, it’s fair to say you’re going to be so obsessed you won’t be able to handle it. Or, as these guys would say, you’ll be shook.

The highlighter, called Eclipse, is an icy peach shade while the lip colors are Daddy, a cool medium brown Gutierrez calls “grunge glam,” and a burnt color called I’m Shook. You’ll be able to get the whole set for $50 in a box printed with Star’s signature star logo and Gutierrez’s moon or get each item individually. It’s $29 for the highlighter and $18 per lipstick, and they’re slated to launch on April 8 at 1:00 P.M. ET.

This is Gutierrez’s fourth collaboration, and, as he says in the video, the one he’s been the most excited about because of his close relationship with Star. It’s nice to see their genuine excitement as they reveal and apply each shade.

Beauty boys are having a (long overdue) moment. Need proof? Milk Makeup debuted a new #BlurTheLines campaign that features a mix of men, women, and genderless people, a.k.a. those who don’t identify with either gender, while beauty vlogger Manny Gutierrez—better known to some as Manny MUA—made history as the first man to star in a Maybelline campaign. Who runs the world? Girls (obviously) and also beauty boys.

That’s why we’re equal parts delighted and not very surprised that makeup artist and YouTube star Jeffree Star has teamed up with Gutierrez on a new collaboration. Yes, as in the one they’ve been teasing for-basically-ever. Both posted a sneak peek on their respective Instagram pages on Sunday.

The collaboration includes one of Star’s signature Skin Frost highlighting powders and two Velour Liquid Lipstick shades. The exact colors of the products are TBD, but we can expect something good. “I want people to be able to play with color and have fun with their look and try something new,” Star told Glamour.com earlier this month. Plus, those Velour Liquid Lipsticks are worth their weight in gold. Seriously, they’re such a cult favorite that companies began making knock-offs last summer, and they sell out faster than Kylie’s Lip Kits.

Star and Gutierrez are BFFs (and have collaborated on videos in the past) so this isn’t really out of left field. The two have been hinting at a collab for months. One eagle-eyed fan noticed an early version of the highlighter on Gutierrez’s Snapchat back in August. On his skin, it looks like it could be a blush, but with the sheen of a highlighter. (Or, you know, frost.)
