Justin Bieber Is a Platinum Blond

The rocky road that is the evolution of Justin Bieber’s hair has taken yet another turn. After he recently unveiled a new longer-on-top haircut, this morning he stepped onto the stage on the Today show as a platinum blond.

This is actually the second time the Biebs has gone platinum—he also dabbled in the hue late last year. But with his hair longer now, it has more of an impact on his look, inviting comparisons to the long line of platinum icons: Billy Idol. Eminem. Marilyn Monroe. The list goes on. It’s an interesting change, and we support it. Snowy white is strong and striking and easy to see when you nod your head yes when you mean to say no (sorry—couldn’t resist a good “What Do You Mean?” ref).
