Kaley Cuoco Has Much Shorter Hair Now

Kaley Cuoco is back on Team Short Hair again! Well, relatively speaking. While she hasn’t returned to Penny pixie short this time, The Big Bang Theory actress’s hair is now significantly shorter than how she’s been wearing it all summer.

But first, just in case you haven’t been keeping tabs on every trim, snip, and extension-add, here’s a quick recap of her recent hair history: After famously chopping it off for The Big Bang Theory back in 2014, Cuoco has been going back and forth between lengths ever since. The last time we checked in on her back in April, she debuted a new longer style courtesy of her hairstylist Faye Woods and some extensions. She wrote on Instagram at the time, “It’s very important for me to change my look after wrapping each season 🙂 I love playing Penny, but it’s good for me to bring it back to Kaley. Last year I chopped it all off—this year I’m doing the opposite.”

Since then, she’s been enjoying her time with Kaley hair, but now as tapings for season 10 have begun, she’s back to her Penny hair once again—a mid-length blunt lob (a.k.a. the cut that’s taking over Instagram) complete with fresh highlights, which she shared on Instagram earlier this week. “Sending mad ��and props to @faye.woods for bringing my cut and colour back to its ‘Penny’ roots #nofilter,” she wrote.

If our celebrity hair sleuthing has taught us anything, we’d venture to guess she probably still has a few extensions in (mostly because her hairstylist tagged the hair extension brand, Great Lengths, in her photo). But we love how they’re used less for length here and more for volume and fullness.
