Kristen Stewart Just Got Frosted Tips Because It’s Apparently the Year 2000 Again

It’s a well-known fact that Guy Fieri is the most important public figure of our generation. From his contribution to the field of onion rings to his avant-garde fashion sense, Fieri is an untouchable cultural trailblazer. The living legend is perhaps best known, however, for his frosted hair tips, which have more sugar than his world-famous Donkey Sauce.

And now it seems Hollywood’s coolest human, Kristen Stewart, is following in the esteemed footsteps of Fieri, as well as those of early-2000s musical icons Mark McGrath and Lance Bass by acquiring some very frosted tips of her own. Granted, Stewart’s new look is probably unintentional—it looks like her bleached buzz cut is just growing out—but that’s not stopping our nostalgic hearts from soaring. With this haircut, the world is Stewart’s oyster: She can cook tater tots on a Carnival Cruise! sing a Sugar Ray song at Skull Island in the Scooby Doo movie! wear an all-jean outfit with Britney Spears to an awards show! The possibilities are endless.

This year has been one of beauty transformation for Stewart. She shocked everyone in March by shaving her head and going bright blond. It was speculated that Stewart got a buzz cut for her new film Underwater, which Variety says “focuses on an underwater scientific crew forced to go on a dangerous journey for survival following an earthquake.” However, that was never confirmed. (It would make sense, though: Swimming is way easier with no hair.)

Regardless, we’re 100 percent here for the frosted tips renaissance. Now all we need is for Stewart to wear an *NSYNC concert tee. Wishful thinking?
