Makeup Inspiration: Here’s How To Copy Selena Gomez’s Gorgeous Glistening Eyes (SUPER Simple!)

Want to spice up your makeup repertoire a little for fall? Here’s such an easy and beautiful idea: Mimic the gently glistening, sexy eyeshadow Selena Gomez wore for her performance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” yesterday.

Selena had her usual thick-dark-lashes look going on …

… but when she closed her eyes while singing, we could see the gorgeousness that’s occurring on her eyelids.

Here’s a closer peek.

I happen to just have been playing around with an eyeshadow that would totally let you copy Selena’s glossy eyeshadow look–Chanel Illusion D’Ombre. In fact, I would venture to guess she just might be wearing this exact shadow. I like the new fall shade “Epatant”, which can look gray, pewter, silver or even gold or greenish, depending on the angle and the light. It’s a luminous gel shadow, so when you smudge it all over your lid (either thinly for a subtle shine or thickly for darker sexiness), it gives an almost watery kind of glimmer. Really, it’s sparkle like I’ve never seen sparkle before–so classy and easy to wear.

Here’s a little demo on the back of my hand, where it’s easy to see how different the shadow looks depending on how light hits it.

Cool, right? It seriously takes a few seconds to blend a little bit of this on, and it looks so beautiful.
