Nail Idea: Knock Off This Lovely Rose-Gold Mani-Pedi

Busy Philipps was looking all sassy and fun in a shiny blue dress and sweet side braid at last night’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards–but what I really want to discuss is her mani-pedi. Take a peek at this easy-to-copy nail idea (unlike the incredibly hard-to-copy plaid manicure we showed you last week).

Isn’t Busy’s peachy-gold, shiny nail polish so pretty? It’s like a less mirrorlike version of the metallic Minx and Sally Hansen decals we’ve gotten used to seeing; these are definitely wearable for work but still look festive for going out at night. They’re also such a nice neutral–more warm and pretty and girly than a more yellow gold or a fleshy tone.

I’m not sure what shade she used, but here are a few varnishes I think would produce a similar effect: Nars nail polish in “Adelita”, YSL La Laque in “Pink Gold” and Forever 21 nail polish in “Gold Rose Petal”.
