Olivia Wilde Cuts Hair, Inspires Women Everywhere To Do The Same

Sometimes a long-haired celebrity gets a haircut and it just takes her gorgeousness to a whole new level (think Ginnifer Goodwin, Brooklyn Decker). And makes the rest of us with long hair question whether we should be quite so hesitant about hacking off a bunch of inches. The latest example? Olivia Wilde, who is showing off a new shoulder-length haircut. Do you love it as much as we do?

At the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday, Olivia modeled her new midlength hairstyle on the red carpet.

like this under one very specific condition: It would need to be styled exactly like Olivia’s is, not just hanging limply beside my face with some wilted little bangs up top. But the reality is probably that it would take me a while to be able to achieve her perfect mussed-up, sexy wavy look. My long hair may be boring at times, but it’s what’s familiar and easy for me. That’s what holds me back from ever copying a midlength haircut like Olivia’s new one. I still fantasize about doing so, though.
