Jennifer Lopez continued to tweak her haircut for her movie Shades of Blue, revealing a slightly shorter length earlier this week. Then yesterday it was caught in action on the set.

This shoulder-grazing cut is perfect for her natural curls. Not only does it give them a great shape (no mushrooming here), but the shorter pieces around her face allow the spirals to really spring up. Of course, we’re sure her curls were touched up with an iron—this is a movie set with professional stylist, after all—but this is the kind of cut that makes it possible to skip that step for a naturally curly girl in the real world.
