Can you think of anyone better to model low-key-sexy makeup than Fifty Shades of Grey star (and current Glamour cover girl) Dakota Johnson? You might kind of want to kiss her after gazing at the lip color she wore on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon yesterday. This bare-but-better matte rose is a look even lipstick haters could fall for.

In fact, celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff revealed to me that Dakota didn’t even wear lipstick for the show. What we see here is just La Mer The Lip Balm topped with Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium.

With V-Day on the horizon this weekend, I can’t help but note that not only are these flushed lips quietly seductive, they’re very makeout-friendly. Much more so than messy red.
