Trying to keep up with every hair-color trend out there can give you major whiplash. Phoenix hair—and many of these trends, really—are the handiwork of colorist Guy Tang.

Tang is an Instagram star in his own right, and his 1.8 million followers freak the eff out whenever he posts one of his cool hair shades, like icy lavender or warm pink. And now you no longer have to leave your obsession with his otherworldly creations at a double tap—or ask your colorist to whip up a similar-but-not-quite-the-same color. Tang has just launched #Mydentity, a new line that allows you to score the pastel hair of your dreams.

The permanent and demipermanent colors in the line include those you won’t find in a drugstore aisle, like Dusty Lavender and Rose Gold (a shade similar to the one Ashley Tisdale made popular last year). It also offers boosters in bolder shades, like hot pink and turquoise, which you can apply straight to your hair or mix with other colors.

While Tang is also known for his emphasis on education, the line is currently reserved for salon pros—which is kind of a #blessing if you’re a hair-color dummy who has DIYed her hair color only once. (It was supposed to be red, turned out plum. Don’t ask.) Plus, if you want to riff on Tang’s cool ombré or balayage, it’s probably better left in the hands of an expert.
