Everyone has their favorite go-to holiday movie—but for those of us who grew up in the ’90s, these 11 flicks will always hold an extra special place in our hearts. Remember these?
Home Alone (1990)
*It’s hard to believe Home Alone just celebrated its 25-year anniversary because it feels timeless: Kevin McCallister’s antics still make us laugh. Buzz, your girlfriend, woof! *

__*Home Alone 2: Lost in New York* (1992)__
Two years later, Kevin was at it again—this time in the big apple. And our dream of eating a giant pizza in the back of a limo is *still* at the top of our bucket list. Who wouldn’t want this:

The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
For some people (a.k.a. me), this is the best of the Muppet movies thanks to Rizzo’s hilarious commentary, Michael Caine’s scary Scrooge, and the cheery Christmas music.

__*The Nightmare Before Christmas* (1993)__
OK, so *technically* this is also a Halloween film, but it’s so fun to hum “Making Christmas” while putting up decorations:

The Santa Clause (1994)
The North Pole in The Santa Clause was so gorgeously decorated and super fun that I think all ’90s kids secretly hoped their dad would become Santa too.

The 1994 version of the Christmas classic was written and produced by John Hughes, the man behind most of our favorite heartwarming holiday movies: *Home Alone, Uncle Buck*, and *Planes, Trains, and Automobiles*.

*While You Were Sleeping *(1995)
Not only does this make the list of our favorite ’90s holiday movies, it also counts as one of the best rom coms ever.

__*Jingle All the Way* (1996)__
When this Arnold Schwarzenegger/Sinbad movie came out, every ’90s kid was putting Turbo-Man on their Christmas wish list.

I’ll Be Home for Christmas (1998)
We mostly loved I’ll Be Home for Christmas because it came out during our peak JTT crush phase.

__*Jack Frost* (1998)__
This may not ever be considered a Christmas classic—How Did This Get Made? even did an episode around the film’s terrible plot holes—but it was a favorite of ours back in the day.
