14 Stars You Never Knew Were in Gilmore Girls
We’ve been geeking out about Gilmore Girls every since EVERY SINGLE ONE of the episodes came to Netflix (!!!). And upon viewing GG for the umpteenth time, we realized how many now-famous stars appeared on the show throughout its run. Here are some of the highlights, below. (P.S. Want to know what all of the stars up to now? We have answers.)
Chad Michael Murray: The One Tree Hill actor got an early start on GG as bad boy (who was crushin’ on Rory) Tristin Dugray.__
Krysten Ritter: We remember Krysten Ritter’s other roles in Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad, and Don’t Trust the B—but not many were huge fans of her role as Rory’s new college friend Lucy.
Seth MacFarlane: The Family Guy creator had a brief (but memorable) role as cranky Bob, one of Lorelei’s classmates.
Jon Hamm: Lorelei briefly dates Jon Hamm’s Peyton Sanders—and, like Don Draper, he’s classy, handsome, and charming.
Danny Strong: Danny’s had a majorly successful career in both acting (Mad Men, Girls) and writing (The Butler, Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Empire)—but we’ll always love him best as Doyle McMaster, Paris’ boyfriend and editor of the Yale Daily News.
Billy Burke: Before he was Bella’s dad in the Twilight franchise, his character, Alex Lesman, dated Lorelei. (Note: We couldn’t find a clip of him, but here’s one of Lorelei talking about going on a fishing date with him…)
Mary Lynn Rajskub: You know her from 24, It’s Always Sunny, and other roles, but she had a truly wonderful part as the “girlfriend” in Kirk’s film.
Which Gilmore Girls characters were your favorite?
