I simply cannot stop squealing over this pic from Angels in the Outfield, which starred a then 13-year-old JGL as an orphan who wishes for angels to lead his baseball team to victory. Check out those pinch-worthy cheeks! And is it just me, or does it totally seem like he’s thinking, “Watch out, ladies“?

No, that’s not a little girl with her hair tied back in a ponytail. That’s JGL himself, chilling in the back of a hot red convertible, rocking some serious neon green and quite the ‘do on the set of 3rd Rock From the Sun. (Side note: Check out that faux fur jacket on French Stewart. Can we please bring that back?)

That peacoat! Those boyish good looks! It’s a picture like this that makes me wish I had gone to prep school.

1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You is on constant rotation in my Netflix queue (check out Heath Ledger’s classic performance of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” in the high school bleachers, and you’ll understand why). But if this photo of Joe dancing with his number-one crush isn’t the definition of a butterflies-in-your-stomach moment, I don’t know what is.

Even though JGL recently said that he and Zooey Deschanel have been friends for ten years, (500) Days of Summer fans still would do just about anything to see these two start dating. Adorkable overload, much?
