A Glorious *Laguna Beach* Reunion Went Down This Weekend

Who can forget MTV’s 2004 masterpiece Laguna Beach? The reality series documented the woes of privileged high schoolers in Southern California and turned Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari into A-list celebrities. It’s been a decade since the show officially wrapped, but fans still love watching the cast members interact on social media. Who is still friends? Who hates each other? Did Jessica Evans (neé Smith) ever get over Jason Wahler? (Who could resist that aftershave?)

That’s why what happened this weekend is so epic. Several LB cast members reunited for supporting character Dieter Schmitz’s wedding. (You remember Schmitz: He was Conrad’s BFF, Evans’ first boyfriend, and always involved in the drama despite never getting an opening slide. Haters.) LB veterans Conrad, Stephen Colletti, Trey Phillips, and Loren Polster witnessed Schmitz marry Isabell Hiebl in Monterey, California, and they documented it all over social media. Be still, my Pomodoro-eating heart!

Colletti shared this adorable photo of him and Schmitz in tuxes on the big day. “One proud groomsman,” he captioned the pic. “The German king scores himself a lovely Austrian queen. And all is well… #dizzy4schmitz @dieterschmitz.” Such dapper dudes! (I credit the SoCal genes.)

Phillips, who is a designer at Vera Wang if his LinkedIn holds water, shared a video of the groomsmen—which included himself, Colletti, and Polster—popping bottles before Schmitz walked down the aisle. (I was drunk at noon on the day of my sister’s wedding, so I support this.)
