Chrissy Teigen Just Got Matching Lower-Back Tattoos With a Stranger

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are an all-around hilarious couple. From reenacting The Devil Wears Prada to having a prom-themed date night to, basically, sexting via Twitter, these two are pros at sharing their love on social media. But over the weekend, Teigen used Snapchat to detail the process of getting matching henna tattoos with, not her husband, but a random, very lucky dude named Eddie. Fans of the couple need not worry, though—her prank was all in good fun.

“I’m Chrissy Teigen, and you guys get to pick your ultimate henna on my lower back,” the model says to the camera in the first snap of the series. In the video, she’s standing in front of a tattoo parlor, holding baby Luna. “Hey, guys, this is me and Eddie, and Eddie’s gonna get a matching henna tattoo on his lower back with me,” she says in the next snap. “How do you feel about it?” the person behind the camera asks Eddie. “Uhhh, lower back? OK!” he replies.

In the following snap, the person behind the camera explains why Teigen is getting this tattoo: revenge. “John got to dance with a woman at his concert, so Chrissy gets to take one man and hold hands with him. John, don’t be jealous,” she says in the video showing Teigen and Eddie holding hands.

The next few snaps show the pair walking into the tattoo parlor and getting inked—and the reveal of their henna tattoos is pretty perfect. Both of them got lower-back henna that appropriately reads, “It’s a prank, bruh.” Legend has yet to respond to his wife’s joke, but if history tells us anything, it’s that this prank battle is far from over.
