Mindy Kaling Was Crying Over This Sweet Tweet From B.J. Novak, and Honestly, Same
Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak are pretty much everyone’s favorite former-flames-now-turned-“weird-as-hell”-BFFish couple: They met on the set of The Office, where their characters had what is probably one of TV’s weirdest, funniest relationships, and then dated on and off IRL before settling on being good friends and coworkers (Novak was a producer and, briefly, a character on The Mindy Project. Through it all, Kaling and Novak have both been open about their love for each other—and honestly, it’s refreshing to see in the world of celebrity relationships (and let’s be real, kind of inspirational for our own). The latest installment of this saga comes courtesy of Novak, who had a sweet message for Kaling on Friday that moved her to tears—and if we’re being honest here, we caught some feels about it too.
“When I met @mindykaling she lived in a small apartment on Fairfax Ave,” Novak tweeted on Friday, above a photo of a bus-stop movie poster featuring Kaling looking fly AF as her Wrinkle in Time character. “This is what’s in front of that building today. Congrats Mindy and a future congrats to all those who see you in it and are inspired to do great things. @WrinkleInTime”

Kaling saw the tweet, and promptly felt all the feels—and honestly, ya can’t blame her. “Oh my god I’m like full crying. I will never be mad at you again,” she tweeted.
