Yolanda Hadid Just Addressed the Rumor That Gigi Is Pregnant

If you watched Yolanda Hadid on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, then you know she’s not afraid to address issues head on. I mean, remember when she took down Lisa Rinna for suggesting she had Munchausen syndrome? (LOL, as if you could forget.) Yolanda wasn’t a big fighter on the show—but when she did have drama, she handled it like a pro. Her tolerance for B.S. is low, and we love her for it.

So it’s no surprise she’s not playing games with the recent rumor that her daughter, supermodel, and cheeseburger advocate Gigi Hadid, is pregnant.

Here’s the tea: A very Photoshop-savvy person—with way too much time on their hands—created a fake Instagram comment from Yolanda that announced Gigi was expecting her first child. “I will be a proud grandmother in eight months…. Life is a blessing,” the message read, which understandably caused an uproar online.

But Yolanda shut the speculation down with one succinct tweet. “No, of course not,” she wrote on Monday (July 31). “If my daughter was pregnant, she would be the one to announce it—not me.” See the response for yourself, below:

Cased closed, my friends. But there’s another question still plaguing me: Who the hell has enough time to create such a realistic-looking Instagram comment? This person could’ve been doing so many more important things with their time, including (but not limited to):

• Volunteering for a charity

• Calling their local representatives

• Eating a Burrito Bowl at Chipotle

• Binge-watching the first season of Riverdale on Netflix

• Listening to Taylor Swift’s 2007 Christmas album, Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection

• Trolling Reddit for conspiracy theories about Sasquatch

• Archery

Seriously, any of these options are better than deception.
