You Won’t Believe What Castle’s Stana Katic Wants to Do Next

Stana Katic is one of the most passionate actresses I’ve ever interviewed, and that extends to her love of independent films, her environmental initiative, the Alternative Travel Project, and children’s welfare. So needless to say, I was a bit surprised when she revealed the creative endeavor she’d like to tackle next: rapping.

“I really want to learn how to rap,” the Castle actress admitted at the Independent Spirit Awards. “I know it sounds utterly ridiculous!”

So who does Stana want to emulate? “I like anything by 50 Cent and Snoop Dog. I love the way they mouth their way around words. I’m not an aficionado, but I would like to learn!”

Of course, that got me thinking…I always trip over words in rap songs and wish I could sing an entire song in the car effortlessly. What if Stana and I actually learned how to rap from one of her idols?

Stana’s eyes lit up. “I think that would be great! If we could go on a journey and an adventure of how to become rappers that would be amazing. If we’re gonna learn, we’re gonna learn from the masters!”

OK, but I think we need stage names. I’ll go by J-Rad, but what about Stana? “Kinectic would be good! Kinectic Katic is deep! I love it!”
