Your First Look at Aria’s Wedding on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Is Here

In October 2016 a photo of Lucy Hale on the set of Pretty Little Liars sparked rumors that her character, Aria, and Ezra (Ian Harding) were getting married in the series finale. I’ve made my opinion about “Ezria” known on multiple occasions, but here’s a friendly reminder: Ezra Fitz sucks. He’s creepy and gross and manipulated Aria just so he could write a crappy, flop book. Their relationship was illegal for half the show, which no one acknowledged for the longest time. Oh, and he frequently brags about his “master’s degree in American literature,” which is both pretentious and annoying. Aria could do much better (and by better, I mean Martial Arts Jake).

But I’m alone on this island. Most people ship “Ezria” hard-core—and it looks like they’re getting their wish. People magazine obtained new photos from the Pretty Little Liars series finale, and they confirm that Aria and Ezra tie the knot. (C’mon, did you really think this wasn’t going to happen? That whole Nicole subplot was just a classic I. Marlene King ruse.) The images appear to be from Aria and Ezra’s wedding day, presumably after the one-year time jump King says happens in the finale. Aria’s lace wedding dress has a distinct retro feel to it, which is very on brand for her. The liars are her bridesmaids, natch, and their dresses are black (which, again, is very on brand for PLL). In one of the photos, Spencer is holding an infant, which might be baby Emison (but we don’t know for sure). The two people who thought Ezra and Aria were going to split up in the series finale can rest easy now. (Meanwhile, I’m just going to pretend it’s Hot Andrew Campbell at the altar next to Aria—not Ezra.)
