A Look Back At The Style That Made Farrah Fawcett A Star
Sad news to report today, dolls: Farrah Fawcett lost her long battle with cancer and died this morning at the age of 62. And while she’ll always have a spot in our Hair Hall of Fame, my lasting image of her is…
as a sassy Charlie’s Angel who made high-waisted jeans cool. It’s amazing how modern her look remains today, isn’t it? Let’s have a glimpse at some of my favorite outfits from the set of the show that made her a household name:
Her cute little tennis whites would have fit right in with Maria Sharapova and the Williams sisters’ super-chic on court style, don’t you think?
This photo was actually taken in 1978, but you’d never guess it. Not only did Farrah pioneer the high-waisted jean, but her jumpsuit is totally trendy again.
Pleated pants are also back in a big way…and it’s kind of hard to tell that Farrah’s off-white pair were made 30 years ago.
We will miss you and your fabulous hair and timeless sense of style, Farrah! It’s pretty incredible to see how lasting an influence some stars can have on the world of fashion and beauty, isn’t it?
