Amal Clooney Is Officially a Style Icon: A Bag Has Been Named After Her

I don’t think we even need to argue that Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin) had a very stylish year. She’s got great office style, great airport style, and definitely great wedding weekend style. Now that most fashion icon of things has came her way: a bag has been named after her.

Meet the Amal, a leather top-handle tote by Italian brand Ballin. It’s the sort of classic, simple style you could carry to work and on weekends, but it’ll set you back—it’s $1,198 at current exchange rates. Browsing the site, it doesn’t look like all of the brand’s bags are named after other stylish faces, though I do see two I recognize: the Cressida and the Katniss. (Cressida Bonas, I miss you!).

I wish I could super-zoom into this shot of Amal, but I’d say it looks like the exact bag she’s carrying, right?

OK, it’s definitely the same bag. It’s a pretty perfect work choice too since it looks roomy enough to fit files, notebooks, and a laptop if you need, but isn’t fussy in the least.

I’m a bit of a bag girl, but I love checking out what bags celebs are carrying. Anyone else out there the same?
