Is Angelina Jolie Into Mom Jeans for Travel With the Kids?

Dad Jeans may have joined Mom Jeans as divisive hot topic discussions (are you yay or nay?), but an Angelina Jolie sighting over the weekend might just sway your decision.

Yes, the polarizing roomier ’90s-throwback denim silhouette might be tempting—especially for wrangling kids while traveling—but the Hollywood A-lister is making a case for skinny, waxed denim instead.

Angie, Brad, the twins Knox and Vivienne, and a very tall Pax (seriously, where has time gone?!) arrived in Tokyo over the weekend looking refreshed and energetic. And instead of loose-fitting light-washed denim, Angelina opted for a pair of sexy leather-esque coated jeans. I’d love to see her in a bright color at some point, but she opted for her signature all-black—which may have been a more practical choice for a long-haul flight. Nothing hides travel wear and tear like the dark somber palette! A pair of flat sandals make airport security a breeze, and of course the future Mrs. Jolie-Pitt has the chicest oversize mom-bag ever.
