Jennifer Lawrence, Julianne Moore, and the Hunger Games Crew Are Back and SO Stylish
The Hunger Games cast is back at it, dazzling on the red carpet as a whole while introducing the latest franchise installment, Mockingjay Part 2. The style action happened at the Berlin premiere last night, and Jennifer Lawrence led the fashionable charge in rich purple. It’s the final movie for the series, and, as such, we predict the leading ladies pulling out all the stops. Come see!
J.Law’s dress is, no surprise, from Christian Dior and features a plunging neckline and slits right at the shoulder. The choice of designer is an expected one, as the star’s relationship with the fashion house is currently set to extend through 2017, netting her a reported $15 million.
Julianne Moore stunned in black Jason Wu with ruffles all around the neckline.
Bringing the princess vibe was Jena Malone, who sparkled in a ball gown from Reem Acra’s spring 2016 collection. She also wore a Dauphin ring.
One of the more arresting looks belonged to Natalie Dormer, who went with a bold Roland Mouret column dress.
Willow Shields subverted what would be an overtly feminine, tiered-tulle creation by opting for an unusual color. Instead of icy blue or pinkish purple, this Marni went richer in a bronze hue created by layering auburn and black silk tulle.
The classic, simple shape of Elizabeth Banks’ Elie Saab gown was a nice palette for the bold, swirling print that covered it all. Her golden headpiece was also Elie Saab.
Mockingjay Part 2 is the last installment for the series, so…tear! This collection of ladies have consistently performed with gorgeous pieces every time a red carpet beckons, and for that we thank them (the odds were definitely in their favor).
