Johnny Depp Is “Worried” About Lily-Rose Depp’s Modeling Career
The protective papa in Johnny Depp has surfaced, with the actor revealing he’s not exactly thrilled that his daughter with Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose Depp, has entered the modeling world. He must have known there was a high probability it’d happen at some point and likely in this exact manner—her model mom has a longstanding relationship with the house of Chanel, making Lily-Rose an obvious legacy choice (she walked in the brand’s casino-themed couture show and is starring in the current eyewear campaign).
“To be honest, I’m quite worried. I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age. But it’s her passion and she’s having fun,” Johnny told Gala magazine.
Lily-Rose leaving the Chanel show
The flawless ads prove she’s an even earlier blooming camellia blossom than her mom; Vanessa was 19 to Lily-Rose’s 16 when she landed her first Chanel campaign. The October issue of Vogue Paris also features a profile of the up-and-comer, confirming she’s definitely no flash-in-the-pan talent.
More celebrity kids entering the fashion world? Both of Cindy Crawford’s and, if Victoria Beckham gets her wish, little Harper. And Willow Smith just signed with the same modeling agency as Kendall Jenner!
