Loving Her Look: Michelle Obama In Tom Ford
Leave it to Michelle Obama to take our breath away at a state dinner: She’s sparkled in Peter Soronen, wowed in Alexander McQueen, and left us speechless in Naeem Khan at past supper fetes, and last night she continued the tradition in an impossibly elegant gown by Tom Ford.

The president and Mrs. O were guests at last night’s state dinner at Buckingham Palace, and she opted for an ivory halter georgette gown that may have ended my search for the perfect wedding dress before it even begins. Opera length white gloves, a teeny jeweled clutch, and chandelier earrings completed the utterly graceful look. Is it just me, or is Mr. President–who’s looking none too shabby himself in a white tie and tails–wearing a grin that says, “Can you believe I landed her!?” They’re elegance incarnate, and we’re absolutely loving the look!
