Poppy Delevingne Wore ANOTHER Amazing Wedding Dress. It’s Boho and Gorge!
I thought Poppy Delevingne’s first wedding dress (bespoke Chanel Couture, as seen on Lucky) was pretty major. And then she had to go and wow me a second time, for her repeat-vows this weekend in Morocco.
While the first dress was divine and like nothing I’ve ever seen before (unlike Kim Kardashian’s, with long lace sleeves that reminded me a lot of Kate Middleton’s gown), this one felt so appropriate for Poppy’s luxe-boho style (from Instagram user moroccanmusthaves). The Telegraph is reporting it’s custom-made by Peter Dundas, Pucci creative director, and it’s the stuff of fairy tales.
I love the full sleeves, laced-up neckline, and thick floral trim at the waist and bust. But most of all? I love how fitting it seems for Poppy, who’s often snapped in street-style shots in outfits with the same sort of vibe. Brides dressing like themselves is kind of awesome, don’t you think?
This side shot from Instagram user Gianlucalonglogg showed off the full volume of the dress (and may or may not have made me gasp a little).
It looked like Cara Delevingne, in a custom Dundas-made suit, reprised her role as maid of honor. Instagram user Carasbunny showed her helping out a smaller guest (and wearing a sweet floral headband).
Stylish pals in attendance included Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse (and sister Cara, obviously), as seen in this snap from Peter Dundas’ Instagram.
Rehearsal dinner? Bachelorette party #2? Whatever the occasion, the sparkly blue sequined mini seen in an Instagram pic from Carasbunny looked ready to party.
See what I mean about Poppy’s signature style? This snap from Peter Dundas’ Instagram of her partying with new husband James Cook shows her in a top (or dress?) really similar to wedding gown #2.
What do you think of Poppy’s second dress? Do you prefer it to the first?
