Taylor Swift kicked off her 1989 tour in Tokyo yesterday, and from the get-go, it was obvious that her edgier, maybe-due-to-Calvin-Harris style wasn’t taking a backseat to the tailored shorts and flat sneaks she wore on the Red tour last year.

To open things up, she picked a sparkly skater mini and a bra top with side cutouts (her glitter-covered boots are by Stuart Weitzman). This fan group counted eleven different outfit switches, and while there were some more classically demure Taylor, others had the bombshell level cranked way up.

For one, she wore a sparkly catsuit similar to the one BFF Karlie Kloss showed off on the Victoria’s Secret runway.

She paired thigh-high heeled boots with high-waisted shorts, connected by garterlike straps.

And from neck to toe, this all-leather look had a sexy dominatrix vibe that was hard to deny (especially paired with that cage-like contraption).
