I love fashion and I love astrology, so the idea of seeing how the cosmos are connected to our closets completely fascinates me. Last month we went over the shopping and styling traits of Geminis and now we’re diving into what makes up a Cancer (June 22 to July 22) thanks to helpful insight from the Astro Twins, Tali and Ophira Edut.

1. You’ve Got More Than One Favorite Pair of Yoga Pants.

“Comfy and cozy is the Cancer way, and they will splurge on a gorgeous, high-end workout wear,” the twins said. If you’ve ever gone a little overboard on Lululemon, stop feeling guilty: You couldn’t help it!

2. But That Doesn’t Mean You Don’t Clean Up Well!

“When it’s time to dress up, they won’t hesitate to hoist themselves up on a sky-high heel and work the step and repeat.” Get on with your bad self, Miss Cancer! You likely have at least a few party-ready heels and cocktail dresses that are definitely not okay for the corporate world.

3. There’s a Rainbow of Colors in Your Closet.

They love the entire color wheel, picking shades dependent on their moods. “Cancers are ruled by the moon so they could go from red to blue to neutrals within the span of one day,” they said. “This is the sign that would race home at lunch for to change because energy shifts and they can’t stand to be wearing whatever they had on anymore.”

4. It’s Either Extremely Organized or Extremely Messy.

Cancers can go either way, but it’s rarely in the middle. They “can be messy, but when they decide to clean up, they might just color-code their shoe collections and alphabetize their bags by designer’s last names.”

“No one loves a bargain more than a Cancer,” the twins said, explaining that the sign often worries about money or going broke and very rarely pays retail. You love sales, thrift stores, and consignment shops and, by now, you’re likely skilled out rooting out the best finds and deals.

6. You See a White Button-Up As Soon As You Open Your Closet.

Uniform-loving Cancers use the piece as a building block for many an outfit. “This sign needs a lot of variety, so mix and match pieces that they can layer are a must,” the twins explain. Along with the basic blouse, don’t be surprised if you’ve amassed a lot of plain tees, tanks, and jackets.

7. And You Also See a Bold, Statement Blouse or Dress.

Trends are fun for you and playing with clothes is a favorite of yours; the twins cited Solange as the ultimate example of this sort of Cancer. On your racks, you likely have an easy-to-spot bright or pattern. “They’re the first ones to rock runway looks in real life.”

8. There Are Outdated Items You’re Too Attached to to Get Rid Off.

“They can emotionally attached to just about everything—look how hard it is for Cancer Selena Gomez to let Bieber go! If they have an item for more than 15 minutes, it’ll have sentimental value for them.” Expect a stash of summer camp t-shirts or necklaces you remember buying at the mall with your middle school BFF.

9. You Could Pull Out Anything for Any Occasion

“Just like sand crabs like to blend into the grains, Cancers like to be seamless and appropriate for their environment. They’ll always dress the part with aplomb.” Still, you can be a bit lazy, so you’ve likely perfected some layered looks (like wearing an LBD to work with a blouse over it and loosing it later, making the same dress work for both the office and after).

It’s predetermined in the stars, basically. “Cancers rule the chest, and the scoop-necked shirt can be a favorite of this sign, as well as the frilly, lacy numbers that few others can wear after the age of five,” the twins said.

11. You’ve Got a Bomber Jacket or Brunch-Appropriate Sweatpants

The twins also said that most Cancers fall into two camps: ultra-girly or tomboy. If the frills above made you cringe, than you’re likely of the latter sort and probably have some sportswear or menswear-inspired pieces on your racks. If that sounds like you, consider ditching the cocktail frock and scooping up a sleek jumpsuit for your next formal event.
