Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” Video Used $13,000 Worth of Clothes From a Sex Shop
File that in the didn’t-see-that-coming category: The wardrobe for Taylor Swift’s epic girl-power music video for “Bad Blood” used clothes not from luxe department stores or high-end designers but from a Los Angeles sex shop called The Stockroom. Page Six reports that the store loaned stylists working on the video $13,000 worth of apparel.
That dollar amount might seem kinda crazy, but don’t forget that there were 36 different outfits shown between all the ladies
(and Kendrick Lamar). According to a source at the shop, the latex dress Taylor wears in the opening scene is one of theirs, as is the blouse Selena Gomez wears (see them here and here). Both of the items, pictured above, don’t come cheap—you can pick up your own for $235 and $360 respectively.
