There are a lot of people who call themselves swimwear experts, but you’d be hard pressed to find a duo that knows more about the splashy topic than Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott. After all, more than 1.2 million fans follow their every fitness tip and bikini recommendation on their Instagram, Tone It Up.
The models, fitness buffs, best friends and, yes, social media sensations, basically do summer all year round, but they’re especially stoked for summer 2016 (so many new suits to try!). We talked with the girls about finding your best bikini and their favorite styles to shop right now.
Glamour: What are your biggest concerns when shopping for a bikini?
Katrina Scott: Shopping for the perfect bikini can be a challenge. We look for soft, comfortable vibrant fabrics that hug curves in the most flattering way. It shouldn’t pinch.
Glamour: Speaking of fit, do you have tips for women with larger busts to find a fitting bikini?
K.D.: Underwire tops offer good support and look sexy, but criss cross straps in the back also give extra support and give you the freedom to get in on that beach volleyball game or jump in the ocean for a paddle.

__Glamour: What about the derriere? What’s the best cut to give you a nice bum? __
K.S.: We swear by the cheeky bottom. We’ve found that wearing smaller bottoms actually makes the booty look better!
Glamour: Do you have any swimsuit horror stories? Wardrobe malfunctions?
K.D.: So many. We shoot all our Beach Babe program workouts in bikini tops, so there have been plenty of slips while jumping around and working out for hours! Our film crew has gotten an eye-full quite a few times…

Glamour: What’s the most liked bikini photo on your Instagram?
K.S.: I did a sneak attack photo of Kat when we were in Cabo filming. It was one of our highest liked photos. #KatBooty…Need I say more?
