The Grammy Looks You Haven’t Seen Yet: Taylor Swift, Zendaya, and the Kardashians
The red carpet at last night’s Grammys was filled with plenty of glamour thanks to stunning gowns from Carrie Underwood, Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, and others (and don’t forget a crop top from Taylor Swift and striking suit from Zendaya). As pretty as all the original picks were, it appears they weren’t quite party-friendly, with the majority of stars slipping into something else for post-ceremony celebrations. Come see which celebs had a second outfit packed and waiting, plus glimpse the names who missed the actual awards but showed up in fashionable force when the after-party hour rolled around.
Taylor changed out of her Atelier Versace crop top and ball skirt in favor of another two-piece set, this time in metallic gold. Her date for the festivities looked to be Lorde, who made her first appearance of the night in a slinky, simple black dress by Nili Lotan. Plus, peep Ellie Goulding in the background. The singer didn’t pose much for cameras, but it’s obvious that her powdery Stella McCartney gown was replaced by a shorter, star-covered party frock.
Zendaya also changed, replacing her business-chic suit with a sheer, plunging gown that was perfectly cut to show off mega gladiator sandals.
New to the evening’s red-carpet scene was Miranda Kerr. The model’s beaded Versace mini was one of the night’s brightest looks.
Kerr wasn’t the only super in attendance either. Alessandra Ambrosio was ready to party in a metallic Naeem Khan jumpsuit (different than the black dress she’d rocked earlier in the night).
While Bella Hadid did change out of the super sexy black dress she wore to the actual Grammys ceremony, her look No. 2 didn’t differ all that much. Sure, it’s shorter and uses thigh-high boots to fake a jumpsuit look, but it’s also in jet black and features a deep-cut neckline.
The Kardashians (and Kanye West) didn’t have a big moment at the actual Grammys, but the family was represented at the after-party circuit. Kourtney went super steamy in a lace jumpsuit that flashed a lot of skin.
Khloe Kardashian was with sister Kourtney and must have gotten the same jumpsuit memo. Her pick skipped all the lace, but was just as sexy thanks to a low-cut neckline and cutouts at the waist.
Ariana Grande’s gorgeous red gown was one of our favorites of the night, but she made the decision to change into something a bit more dance floor-friendly when leaving the awards. In its place, she rocked a mini made special with a large ruffle on the bodice and over-the-knee boots.
Another outfit switch came from Kacey Musgraves, who replaced the princess-like gown she wore for the actual ceremony with a shorter, long-sleeve dress.
