The One Thing Eva Mendes Will Never Wear Around Ryan Gosling

When it comes to couples, each one is unique in terms of what the partners will and won’t do in front of the other, and fashion is totally fair game for those kind of rules. In a recent interview with Extra, Eva Mendes revealed that for her and Ryan Gosling, it’s banning a certain comfy-time staple.

“You can’t do sweatpants,” she said. “Ladies, number one cause of divorce in America, sweatpants, no!”

I’m not super surprised, since Eva’s personal style does always seem to be retro-feminine with sweet dresses belted at the waist. Still, I obviously don’t believe it’s a factor leading to divorce and would argue that it’s all about individual tastes. I feel lucky to have one of those guys who believes that the sexiest outfit on a woman is something fairly casual—he likes yoga pants and has even complimented a pair of sweats.
