Victoria Beckham Literally Wore Mom Jeans and a White Tee to Her Fashion Show

At Fashion Week you can count on just about everyone to wear the most polished, if not OTT, looks possible. But when Victoria Beckham stepped out for her final bow after presenting her spring 2018 collection on Sunday morning, she wasn’t wearing the expected trousers or suiting—in fact, her parting outfit was noticeably simpler.

Beckham opted for an outfit not unlike what any of us would wear for an early weekend call time: jeans and a white T-shirt. Though the designer (and recent beauty entrepreneur, with Estée Lauder) revealed that she’s developed a soft spot for sneakers in recent hears, don’t take this getup as evidence that her “posh” reputation is wavering. She has a pretty practical reason for sticking to a simple outfit: A designer’s Fashion Week schedule is no joke.

“On the lead up to Fashion Week, you don’t really have the time to think about what you’re wearing because we’ve been so busy this week with the collection and the casting and everything else that goes with putting a big show together,” Beckham told People after the show. “It was just jeans and T-shirts for me this week.”

Unfortunately, copping her exact NYFW look won’t be as straightforward as shopping her runway (at least this season). “They’re just vintage Levi’s,” Beckham explained, apparently purchased at an unmentioned vintage store. (Don’t worry—we can help you find your perfect pair.)
