Vote: Which of Anne Hathaway’s 8 (!!!) Oscar Dresses Did You Like Best?
You know you have an opinion, so you might as well make it official (and see if you’re in sync with other STF) here in this spiffy poll:
Thanks to Oscars co-host Anne Hathaway (and her stylist-to-supernovas Rachel Zoe!) we had not one, but two red carpets at the Oscars last night–both before and during the show. If it weren’t for the ten lovely ladies who made our Oscars 2011 Best Dressed List, I might’ve gone so far as to say that I liked Anne’s parade of gorgeous designer gowns even more than the red carpet scene! (But then, I’m a sucker for a happy smiler like Anne.)
Anyhow, onto the voting! Cue the drumroll and then refresh your short-term memory with a quick glance at the gowns Anne Hathaway wore last night:

The red Valentino “archive” dress: I especially enjoyed the fact that Valentino himself served as Anne’s accessory–much chicer than diamonds.

The grecian Givenchy haute couture dress: No doubt this gorgeous gown with just-right sequins made a lot of brides-to-be re-think their big day decisions.

The Lanvin lady tux: On Twitter, @gossipgirl wondered if Hathaway had out-suited Leighton Meester. (We couldn’t help wondering about those sparklers for shoes!)

The fringed beaded tassel Oscar de la Renta dress: Glittery ’70s maxi gown? A Rachel Zoe signature if there ever was one!

The decadent Vivienne Westwood couture strapless dress: An unusual choice for both Zoe and Hathaway, but a pretty stunning way to shake up the evening gown competition, nonetheless.

__The Armani Prive futuristic column gown: __When Anne hit the stage in this, a friend texted “Is that Mylar?” To which I texted back “Who cares? I think it has POCKETS!” Amazing.

The Tom Ford grey sequin gown: Early on last night, I thanked (via Twitter) Michelle Williams, Amy Adams and Florence Welch for doing their part to make Scandalous Celebrity Style Moments a thing of the past. With her covered-up but still hella-sexy Tom Ford dress, Hathaway deserves some props too.

The wine-colored Atelier Versace gown: This must’ve been Anne Hathaway’s favorite, as she wore it out to the Oscars 2011 after-parties, including Vanity Fair’s A-list bash.
Phew! Now that’s some serious fashion–and also seriously stressful! Can you imagine changing in and out of these threads in a nanosecond?
