It’s official! Queen Elizabeth II is officially England’s longest-reigning monarch. In honor of her majesty’s epic 63-year milestone, we’re looking back on some of her most fun moments: meeting celebs.

In all fairness, we can’t imagine a more intimidating event to dress for than meeting the Queen of England. Some stars, such as Angelina Jolie and even Madonna (Madonna!) went conservative to meet the Queen, while others, like Lady Gaga, went…shall we say, in an untraditional fashion direction. Ever the bombshell, Marilyn Monroe chose a glittering lame gown with a revealing neckline in October 1956.

Barbra Streisand went for a dramatic hooded cloak in January 1975.

No naked dresses here! Jennifer Lopez opted for a hunter green wrap gown with plunging neckline on November 2001.

James Bond stars Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry went ultra glam in November 2002. Berry’s embroidered white ball gown is as regal as it gets.

Oh to be a fly on the wall when this happened: Lady Gaga opted for a red latex ball gown and mask-like red eye makeup in December 2009.
