Whoever Thinks We Don’t Need This ‘Legally Blonde’ Clothing Line Is Seriously Disturbed

“Legally Blonde” came out 16 years ago, but it’s managed to secure a spot in the canon of the most quotable movies of all-time (what, like it’s hard to do that?), so it’s surprising its taken this long for Elle Woods’ words of wisdom to be immortalized on clothing. MGM has teamed up with WhoHaha, the digital platform co-founded by actress Elizabeth Banks whose goal is to spotlight on funny women to release a line of merch inspired by the comedy. So basically, if you and your chihuahua are both Gemini vegetarians, keep reading.

The collection includes hats, notebooks, shirts and sweaters, all featuring the movie’s quotes you know and love. According to WhoHaHa, “They’re comfy, they’re trendy, and whether you’re a superfan or just have a healthy appreciation for pink, you’re gonna want them in your life.” And yes, most of the merch is pink. No word on whether it’s scented—that’d give it a little something extra, don’t you think?

It’s hard not to wonder whether the somewhat random timing could foreshadow something to come—perhaps another installment of the movie franchise? In 2015, the film’s star Reese Witherspoon told Rachel Zoe she had some ideas for deceptively ditzy Elle Woods. “I actually think it’s kind of great right now because we’re talking about women in politics and how important that is…to get more women. And I think it’d be kind of a cool thing to have [Elle] be a Supreme Court Justice or somebody who runs for office or president?” Um, yes, please.
