Britney Spears’ Engagement Ring: The Details Are In—And They’re Pretty Shocking!

Word on the street is that Britney Spears’ engagement ring is quite modest for a celeb of her caliber!

According to Us Weekly, the Neil Lane engagement ring features a round stone that’s 3-plus carats and pave diamonds on the band.

I’m going to assume that the words “above 3 carats” in the Us article mean that the center stone is less than 4 carats—which is still super-size for a regular girl, but nowhere near, say, the 16.5 carats we saw on Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring—and that was just Kim K.’s center stone!

Of course the name Neil Lane adds some dollar signs to the price tag, but I kind of love that Brit-Brit’s new bling isn’t big enough to eat dinner off of.

If memory serves me, her ring from K.Fed (which I’m pretty sure she bought herself) was in the 5-carat range.

Is anyone else surprised that Britney’s ring isn’t the size of a Mini Cooper?

I’m surprised, but I think it’s awesome! Her relationship seems awesome, so she doesn’t need a stupid-big ring to distract people.
