All eyes were certainly on hotel heiress Nicky Hilton and British banking heir James Rothschild when they swapped vows earlier today at Kensington Palace. But even more fascinating than the bride (who wore a custom Valentino wedding dress worth upwards of $50,000) and the groom (whose family is worth a reported $12 billion) is the motley crew who made up their guest list. (No stray great-aunts from Tuscaloosa in this bunch.)

The Daily Mail called the nuptials “a collision of two scandal-soaked families who have, until now, had little in common beyond a stupendous fortune on each side.” Here’s a sampling of the cast of characters who were there to witness the “dynastic alliance.”

Paris Hilton The bride’s hard-partying older sister—now a DJ playing gigs worldwide—was joined by her boyfriend, Swiss businessman Thomas Gross. Wearing a periwinkle blue bridesmaid dress, she stood alongside her mom, mother-of-the-bride Kathy Hilton, before the ceremony.

Kyle Richards The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fixture is a half-sister of the mother of the bride. The mom of four shared an Instagram snap ahead of the wedding in which she was posing with her children on London’s Marleybone High Street.
