Celebrities You Never Knew Had Nipple Piercings

It’s starting to feel like nipple piercings are 2015’s answer to naval piercings of the late ’90s/ early 2000s. Bella Hadid is the latest celebrity to be spotted with a nipple piercing in the past few months. The model, 18, hit the red carpet at a Vogue Paris anniversary party in a sheer Balmain dress that clearly showed off her nipple ring.

Prior to Hadid’s reveal, her friend—and fellow model—Kendall Jenner admitted to also piercing her nipple, telling Page Six, “It is true. I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like Let’s just do it.'”

Kendall’s sister Kylie Jenner also hinted at having a nipple piercing via Snapchat back in April.

Despite giving us serious flashbacks of the belly button rings rocked by Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Lindsay Lohan more than a decade ago, the Hadid/Jenner squad members are hardly the first celebrities to pierce their nipples. Nicole Richie, Rihanna, Pink, Aguilera, and—how could we forget?—Janet Jackson, paved the way.
